The Flavors of Fall DinDin Party was set at a lovely ranch home in historic Oak Cliff. Upon walking in you were greeted with this beautifully designed table set outside on a deck overlooking the backyard. It was a comfortable fall night in Dallas making it a perfect time to take the dinner party outside.
Our hosts, were two classically trained French chefs (Chef Connor and Chef Ashley who own Sprig of Thyme Catering). Their attention to details from the venue, to the table setting, to the menu was exquisite.
Guest mingled and got to know each other over wine and a Charcuterie Board featuring a nice selection of breads, cheeses, fruits and cured meats.
The sixteen guests attending were a nice mix of ages, backgrounds including friends and family of the hosts, a couple couples who knew no one, and friends invited by other friends.
Flavors of Fall Menu
In keeping with the theme, the menu for the evening highlighted the flavors of fall. From the Pumpkin and Poblano bisque to the Maple Poached Pear tarts.
