The first official DinDin Party was the Candy Corny Halloween Party. Hosted by one of the top bloggers in Dallas — Ginger Marie.
The Alexan West Sky Lounge in West Dallas was the perfect setting as it featured a gorgeous patio that overlooks downtown, a warmly decorated suite, and a cozy fireplace.
Corny costumes required made this adult Halloween DinDin Party really fun. Guests went dressed as everything from Sriracha, peanut butter, a hot dog, to the host herself as the Bride of Frankenstein.
Candy Corny Halloween Party Menu
The menu was devilishly delightful with Halloween inspired dishes…
Cheesy Finger Sticks. The most delicious garlic, cheesy breadsticks — in the shape of fingers of course.
Devilish Eggs. Spooky deviled eggs cracked, not peeled, cut in half, dipped in “blood” and filled with yumminess!
“Guacenstein”. Guacamole and Salsa – because you can’t have a party in Texas without chips and salsa.
Brains and Cheese. Frightful mac and cheese made to look like bloody brains. Topped with bacon because everything in life is better with bacon!
Dead Man’s Delight. Short ribs, barbeque sausages, and a skeleton and you’re ready to go! A crowd favorite.
And to celebrate the Candy Corn theme, lots of Candy Corn Jello Shots!
To wrap up and celebrate the evening, we gave each guest a Gift bag that included West Dallas’ own Katie Weiser Chocolates’ sugar skulls and Frankenstein’s fingers.
